I’m leaving the cast list short for this one, it’s worth watching the film past the end to get a few nice surprises.
The film came out on my birthday, when I was in Paris visiting my daughter Alexandra, for some reason it was a few days later out there, which was a real shame I’d have loved to go with Alex. We both love the original Disney cartoon and the songs are a regular feature when we’re both in singing mode, with that in mind I was almost nervous about seeing this version.
However literally as soon as the film started I was completely entranced; Emma Watson was wonderful, she has a sweet singing voice and sang the songs beautifully. I don’t want to give anything away so will just enthuse more, this is a magical film, one I’ll be buying as soon as it comes out on DVD!
