Cricket Travels 2018 – Part 4

With a day to spare to get home from Trent Bridge and get to the Essex Cricket County ground my friend Tina and I headed to the Wimpole Estate, just South of Cambridge it was well placed for a stop. Their website is Here

We’d had a decent breakfast at our very basic accommodation at the National Water Sports Centre so just treated ourselves to a cold drink and an ice cream before setting off to look at the stunning gardens.

This is a very big property and one we both want to visit again, we made our way to the Walled Garden, of all of the National Trust Properties I’ve been to I think this is has the most colourful garden, hopefully my photos give it due credit.
