I’d been looking forward to this one and wasn’t disappointed! Brian Cox was superb as a troubled Winston Churchill, the film is set around D Day and it’s build up. It tells the tale of Churchill’s distrust of the plan and him having to come to the realisation that in this war he is a politician not a forces man. It tells a human tale as well as a historical one. Dunkirk up next for me, good timing to see both films in the same week.
