I lived no more than 10 minutes from Hyde Hall for over 25 years and never visited. I put that right this summer and joined the RHS, a complete bargain at just over £45 for the year. The membership gives entrance to Hyde Hall, Wisley in Surrey, Harlow Carr in Yorkshire and Rosemoor in Devon as well as a large number of partner gardens.
Hyde Hall is still as good as on my doorstep, so I plan to visit and share photos throughout the year to see how the landscape changes with the seasons.
As well as beautiful gardens there’s a great restaurant to have lunch or a coffee and cake and of course a shop, with lots of lovely things to buy.
There were still some amazing colours on show, remarkable in November, I even managed to capture a bee!
