I’d seen trailers for this film and found them funny so thought I’d give it a go. The Batman films are amongst my favourites – a la Dark Knight style, I did find the Batman vs Superman film a bot odd but still enjoyed the action. I had the company of 11 year old Ochenahe for this film and was interested to see his reaction to the film. I found the whole animated lego thing fascinating, the film is funny and I can see there’s humour to suit all ages. As for it being one of the best Batman films? Not for me, I like my batman in human form, but the ‘plot’ was a clever one and the reference to the TV batman of my childhood was good fun. It’s an entertaining film and Ochenahe enjoyed it too!

Worth watching at the cinema? I’m torn on that one, the effects are very clever and if you have children of the right age, I’d say yes. An added bonus was seeing a little boy leaving the cinema with his batman mask on!
